WHAT THE APP STORES
The duties, flights, crew names, aircraft, totals and profile details you enter or import are stored on your device. If iCloud is turned on, they are synced to your own private iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit, so they appear on your other devices. Paperplane D cannot see or access this data.

WHAT WE COLLECT
Nothing. Flight Duty has no account system, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not collect, sell or share your personal information.

PERMISSIONS THE APP MAY ASK FOR
Calendar: only if you choose to export your roster to your calendar. Photos: only to pick a profile photo. Only the photo you choose is used. Files: only to import a logbook or roster file you select.

MAPS
Route maps use Apple Maps. Apple’s privacy policy applies to map data.

BETA TESTING
During the TestFlight beta, Apple may share crash reports and any feedback you choose to send with us, as set out in Apple’s TestFlight terms. We use these only to fix problems in the app.

DELETING YOUR DATA
Delete the app to remove data from your device. To remove synced data, go to iOS Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage and delete Flight Duty’s data.

YOUR RIGHTS
Because we do not hold your personal information, there is nothing for us to access or delete. If you have any questions under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) or any other privacy law, contact us.
